War Stars - Space Shooter

War Stars is a vertical space shooter with lane-based combat, wave progression, magazine management, and an online leaderboard.

It’s one of the first games where I really went deep on game design details. The more you play, the more the systems start to click.

Scoring rewards (least to most, Stage 1 values)

• Regular kill: +50 (1x)
• Spawn kill: +500 (10x)
• Perfect Mag (10 hits, 0 misses): +1000 bonus
• Super Perfect Mag (Perfect Mag + last kill is a spawn kill): +2000 bonus
• Ultra Perfect Mag (Perfect Mag + all 10 kills are spawn kills): +5000 bonus

Mag bonuses are added on top of your kill points, and all rewards scale up by stage.
